Description
Seismic sources Pike-D are designed for efficient generation of elastic waves in medium. They are used in engineering and geophysical surveys in logged areas, transition zones and water areas. A pulse from a source is generated by a shot of nail gun cartridges, which are available on the market. Energy-conversion efficiency of the source depends on the cartridge type used (0.4–0.8 kJ). Sources of the Pike series are made from a durable and light titanium alloy that allows them to be robust and ergonomic in design with high reliability, ruggedness and low weight.
